Shawn Tetreault - Manager, Smart Mining Solutions
Shawn Tetreault has taken a very rounded approach to his career and is driven to help others achieve their goals with the use of technology. Graduating with diplomas in architecture and computer systems, Shawn began his career as a software developer in aerospace and e-learning. Shawn went on to join a heavy equipment distributor in Canada that led him to many different and fulfilling career paths. Shawn has enjoyed a fourteen-year career in heavy equipment, managing teams of people and applying continuous improvement processes along the way. Shawn’s career came full circle when he entered the mining technology space, still with his driving factor to help others achieve their goals. Shawn has had an article featured in Canadian Mining Magazine about Equipment Optimization and Cost Per Ton and has had other articles featured in corporate newsletters. Shawn enjoys supporting youth development and has volunteered as a speaker for the JABC (Junior Achievement British Columbia) and coaching youth in sports. Shawn is committed to helping others leverage technology in mining to achieve greatness.
