On October 1, SMS Equipment proudly welcomed Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith to its Fort McMurray branch for the announcement that the West Coast pipeline, renamed Pacific Link, has been named a project of national interest and listed under the Building Canada Act, a critical step in its approval process.

The event was attended by SMS Equipment’s Fort McMurray branch employees, government officials, Indigenous leaders and industry representatives.
