Fecon’s new RK5015 standard flow mulching attachment features 22 knife or carbide-type cutting tools and has a 50-inch working width. Operating from 2,400 to 3,600 rpm, it can shred brush and small trees up to 4-inches in diameter. This makes it an excellent tool for clearing brush and vegetation from fence lines, shredding material in woodland urban interface zones, clearing rights-of-way, lot clearing and clean-up, site preparation and more.
The new mulcher head is ideal for use with most standard skid steer loaders and some smaller articulated wheel loaders. The attachments is also well-suited for other carriers that can provide 17-27 gallons per minute of dedicated hydraulic flow, have enclosed cabs that can be properly protected with the appropriate polycarbonate guarding and have the ability to carry the attachment.
Weighing just 1,300 pounds with mounting plate and push bar, the Fecon head is easily handled by the carrier, yet stout enough to provide a long service life. Overall width is approximately 60 inches with a cutting width of 60 inches. Its overall height is 52 inches with a depth of 33 inches. The head attachment is adaptable with varying mounting plates to fit several types of carriers.
