Building on the proven IMC 2.0 technology, IMC 3.0 offers several new automated functions that increase overall productivity, reduce rework, and improve operator performance, regardless of experience.

3D Boundary Control

Work-restriction surfaces can be set with specified height, depth, front, back, and side boundaries. The excavator will stop automatically when it gets close to the specified restricted zone.

3D Boundary Control operates on a fixed 3D coordinate system designed in a project file, which means that the boundaries do not need to be reset, even when the machine is moving. This is extremely useful for complex job sites, as it can remember multiple restriction zones specific to each work area.

Prevents contact with high-voltage cables, adjacent buildings, or piping installed underground.
Reduces unnecessary stoppages to reset boundary limits since the boundary is set to the site conditions, rather than to the machine.

Auto Swing

The auto swing feature automates the loading process. The machine automatically swings and lifts the bucket to the predefined position of the truck body. Once material is dumped, the excavator automatically swings back to the original digging point, ready for the next cycle.
