President and Chief Executive Officer

Robin has led SMS Equipment since July 2021, and served previously as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He has thirty years of leadership experience across multiple industries including power generation, technology, wireless, investment management, and heavy equipment.  Robin is driving a new growth strategy for SMS Equipment. He is passionate about building on the company’s position as a global leader of equipment solutions to enable our customers’ success and SMS Equipment’s commitment to being a collaborative growth partner for our customers. He leads a company culture that cares about its employees and encourages them to collaborate and innovate. Robin is an enthusiastic supporter of the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and championing the company’s innovation programs in digital technologies and decarbonization.  Robin has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, earned his MBA in marketing, and has a Chartered Professional Accountant – CPA, CA designation.
